Dave & Julie's Baby Shower

Dave and Julie are expecting a baby boy the end of July and I am so excited for them! Before their couples baby shower, we were able to capture a few shots of them with their two pugs Rocky and Puggy. Wow, were those dogs ever cute! Hopefully it won't be too hard for the pugs to adapt to their future family addition :) Just in the few hours I got to know them, there is no doubt that they are going to be Amazing parents!

Thanks you guys for having me there! It was a blast to hang around and meet all of your family and friends. What a great celebration it was and fantastic idea for a couples shower. This is such a special time for you two and I felt very honored to help capture your special day.
Congratulations Dave & Julie!

Soon there will be three...

I love that face! I just wanted to take them home with me :)

There you are Julie :)

That hat is so cute!

Evie is ONE!

Evie was such a joyful little girl to capture! She was so adorable reading her book. At one years old, she already got lost in a great story and it was like we weren't even there. We also found out fast that she loves flowers and attempted a few times to see what they tasted like.

Thanks Anne and Josh, I had a blast hanging with you guys. I was happy that Evie's grandparents were able to come along as well. It is so much fun to see the smiles that Evie brings to all of you. Evie truly is a special little girl!

Look at those adorable leg wrinkles!

I loved the way she took every step!

She never really tasted it, only attempted :)

I love to see the proud grandparents, it's so precious!

RELEVANCE 2009!

I just recently got invited to Eagle Brook Church to help capture the 'Relevance' Conference. The day was kicked off with the worship team leading everyone in song. All the musicians are so incredibly talented and it was fun to sing along while behind the camera :) To keep the energy going, Mike Hadley lead us all in some stretching exercises along with some comic relief. There were inspiring messages throughout the day from all the speaking Pastors at Eagle Brook. I was able to stay long enough to listen to Senior Pastor Bob Merritt chat with special guest Bill Hybels who is the Senior Pastor at Willow Creek Church in Chicago.  Bob asked Bill a range of questions on church and today's culture. It was extremely insightful and I'm glad that I got to take it all in. The day was closed with one of my favorite songs on the Eagle Brook worship cd, "God of the City". What a great day it was!

A stretching skit... very funny!
