The gift of Life amazes me every time. When I get to hold a newborn, I am realizing more and more how much we need to cherish that stage of life. Wouldn't it just be awesome if we could only pause it long enough to never forget those first days.

Well, I am honored to have captured baby Lauren before she was a week old. She was born on June 2, 2010 and just under 6 lbs. What a beautiful baby girl. I could have just held her all day long. She was so sleepy, but I definitely think we

caught some first glimpses of her smile :)
